10 Things you Should be Grilling but Aren’t

As Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial start of summer it’s safe to bet the grill is out and ready for the season! Here is a list of foods we’ve never thought to grill before but have for sure been missing out. So fire up your grill and try something new!

10. Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Sounds like a given right? But, have you ever actually made one on the grill? Delish!

9. Pizza

Grilled pizza has a similar flavor to wood fired pizza and we aren’t complaining! Make your own from scratch our build one from a kit purchased at your local grocery store.

8. Pineapple

We thought pineapple couldn’t get any better until we tried it grilled. Cut it in rings and toss it right on the burners. You can add it to your favorite burger or enjoy it on its own.

7. Meatballs

Whether you’re making spaghetti or a sandwich add some flavor by grilling your meatballs instead.

6. Peaches

Just like the pineapple grilling this fruit takes it’s flavor to an entirely different level. Add it to your meal, top with some sugar, or eat it on it’s own!

5. Pound Cake

Place your pound cake slices directly on the burners and wait until they get a little crispy. When they are grilled to your liking top them with grilled peaches or pineapple and some whipped cream. Yum!

4. Sweet Potatoes

Slice them up and place in some tin foil with whatever seasonings you choose. They grill up amazingly and the best part is no mess! Just toss the foil when you’re finished.

3. Watermelon Slices

They turn out pretty savory! Maybe make a fruit Kabob with your peaches and pineapple!

2. Grilled PB&J

Put a twist on this classic sammy by throwing it on the grill! You can even get creative and add more fillings like bacon.

1. Banana’s

Slice your banana right down the middle and fill with chocolate chips, peanut butter, and marshmallows. Cover them in foil and place on the grill just until they are warm! Voi la! a delicious summer treat.
