Cosley Zoo is a very reasonably priced zoo in Wheaton. The parking is great if it’s not busy because the lot is close, but on really busy days the lot fills up and it can be difficult to find parking nearby. It’s small, but enough to spend a nice day there with the kids.

We love Cosley Zoo as you can do it in one afternoon and not be crazed chasing your kids in a large zoo. They have mostly outdoor exhibits with deer, farm animals, rabbits, birds, and so on. They often have employees out and they are happy to talk to kids. Feeding time is around 4:00 PM so animals are happy eating. Great gift shop and lots of areas to bring a picnic lunch. Bring sunscreen, not much shade.

Great outing with your kids! The admission price is reasonable and they just expanded their parking to make room for more people. The parking lot can get a little backed up but it is super convenient and right next to the entrance. They have a cute little restored caboose with puzzles and games for the kids to play with. It isn’t super big, but there is plenty there for the kids to see and enjoy. In the fall, they have a great little hay pyramid and corn maze made just for smaller kids. We love Cosley and recommend it to all.
